Trying something new here, wanting to put astrology to work in those enigmatic, yet
practical ways.
First of all, I am big on explaining philosophy. You can be Buddhist and the
consciousness of the Christ. You can have any religion, any knowledge of astrology
and still move with the consciousness of the stars.
So this will be blurbs and such...but hopefully mostly always insightful.
September 11
I have owned my car for eleven years (11 years, count 'em) today.
Second civil war, hopefully, it will be like the second coming, invisible. A rarefied look at
incivility as certain men & women begin to feel disenfranchisement for the first time.
And, I have chosen to teach them deep noble responses to this feeling.
For Leo Fire Pig Jim Wilson of SC & Republican status to holler "You Lie!" to our
biracial President (do you ever sense biracial is a symbol of bipartisan, to ask POTUS
to choose a party is like asking him which race he likes best, his black or his white side?)
Our esteemed President is both. The quintessential outsider, but insider who listens to
what those who speak do not begin to even know they are saying. Master (chess)
Barack knows with whom he is playing. He is a master teacher of reflecting what is
hidden to get to a fuller unity.
I felt this pain and joy during high school. Too many things, and I realized the Latin
phrase 'inter alia' or amongst other things described my talents, my strengths, my roots.
Holding up reformist Christian Jehovah's Witnesses (I'm a recovering JW), a lesbian
mother and unrealized sexual & affectionate needs from humans regardless of physical
attributes (thanks to my retrograde/read: introverted Venus in Scorpio and eighth
house), I have become the self-realized man who types these words. I am more than
too many things; I am who I have consistently been meaning to become. Bending
through realistic expansion as the only option looks well and strong.
A second civil war? Huh? Oh, let's be clear the Tenth Amendment requires (along with
the 1st, 2nd, 4th) a vigorous Supreme Court interpretation. In the realm of spirit and
soul, a second civil war be, if needed, however, we've already spilled the body and
mind about a 150 years ago. Weren't these people the first to secede (like Joe
Libermann called for the impeachment of Bill Clinton)
Whites depending upon your recognized privilege, read a slave narrative and place
yourself as the protagonist. Whenever you wax connectedly to someone who cries, "I
want my country back...!", then you know you have entered into the oh so charted
territory of PRIVILEGED ...caps intended. Hello, South Carolina (SC).
SC became a state on May 23, 1788. President Obama's Moon is located at the fourth
degree of Gemini (thanks to our paranoid population, we have his birth certificate).
Well, anyone who purports to know astrology knows that Gemini begins on May 20-21.
Therefore, South Carolina's Sun (birth date into the United States of America) was the
fourth degree of Gemini. The Moon physically reflects the light of the Sun. Our classy
President reflects the illumination of South Carolina. My knees move towards the floor.
I pray for his safety & he's a Leo!
My biggest fear of his safety (hopefully, I am taken somewhat seriously as a legal
stargazer) is on these dates...It is the time sweet November that I'd beef up Secret
Service detail, namely around the teens of November '09...(the 11th through the 20th).
Do I have more than a moderate concern for our President? That's like asking me do I
have locks...of the undreadly quality. Yes, I do. Have fear for our leader & most
beautiful locks...

Yes, working on Labor Day. Usually I go against the grain, so this works (pun intended)
for me. My consciousness leads me to talk about 'life on the go'. That is a quick
recognition of cosmic influences on your personal life.
Mercury, a little planet close to the Sun, has just begun to appear to move backwards.
Until September 29, we get to perceive ourselves in the mirror that others reflect to us.
Those born at the early degrees of the cardinal signs (don't know...these signs begin
the seasons) have the most challenges in letting Mercury sojourn to their personal
underworld (subconscious, instincts & conditioning). If they allow this traveler to search
out those rigid areas in your environment that need to be confronted, we all benefit.

Hopefully, you realize that astrology is a gateway to talking about a number of spiritual
subjects, some of which may seem to be fringe...like reincarnation.
We are told that the birthers are a fringe group of the Republican party. No matter
what evidence is presented to these people, they believe our President was not born
here in America.
I have had some clients state that they believe President Obama is the reincarnation of
President Lincoln. Open your minds; expand your consciousness.
What if...?
What if these two men share the same continuing soul? How would you frame
the birthers, the secessionists, the racists, inter alia (amongst other things,
Latin?) What if the Union had allowed the South to secede? What if the civil war
will be fought on a psychic/emotional plane this time?
From an astrological perspective, our 'current' president has a South Node of the Moon
in Aquarius. Astrologers speak of this placement of the intersection of the Moon's orbit
around the Earth and the Earth's around the Sun as karmic. Karmic, as in every action,
choice ever taken has an equal and opposite reaction throughout time and space.
Hello, if the larger society can give a forum to the birthers, why not use their argument
to introduce something else into the conversation?
Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 (the same exact day as Charles
Darwin). His sun (symbol for consciousness) is nearly the same space as our current
president's South Node of the Moon. I delineate this astronomical point as 'a past life
symbol'. Many astrologers interested in broadening our conversation to include the
continuity of consciousness do this. However, what does it mean to have these two
men joined in this manner, especially given our current climate in America? Are the
birthers simply ancestors of the same confederates who seceded from this nation
almost 150 years ago? What if their souls still see and recall President Lincoln?
Hello, the soul transcends time and space. These folk do not want to end their lives in
the way that they have known it. White skin is not an automatic point of privilege.
President Obama, Judge Sotamayor and Professor Gates (not to mention First Lady
Michelle Obama, beautiful inside and out) symbolize on the national (and popular
culture stage) that white skin as the overarching point of privilege has ended. The
American mythology in part created by 19th century Horatio Alger is over. After all, as
you begin to look through the eyes of your soul, a soul's moment lasts forever. Start to
know as the ageless part of your being ages, you have been all races, genders,
classes and religious folk. Yet, ponder the possibilities of these two men having
separate physical vehicles, but the same soul. And, then think to yourself whose soul
would you enjoy sharing?
How can you dream the American Dream if you must look at someone of color living
that dream? Some become a John Wilkes Booth of the 21st century. Some don't
assassinate with guns, you do it with words and antics. Talking points and inter alia
(among other things). Lest we understand our mistakes of the past, we are destined to
repeat them. That's why I say a resounding forgive, but don't forget. In conversation
with those who refuse to recognize our common humanity despite our splintered
differences based on class, race, religion, gender, age and sexuality, speak your piece,
but cast no pearls before unevolved swine.
Whether these two men have the same soul is not the burning question. It is their
effect on American consciousness, the elevation of said consciousness. Is it a mistake
that we have the Henry Gates arrest at the same time as the birther movement gains
some apparent momentum? Through Professor Gates age (although it's been said
that 'black don't crack'), class and race intersect in a way that provokes conversation
and introspection.
If our reincarnated President Lincoln had to do it over again, what would he do
differently? A major motivation of our soul is to evolve. Your higher self will not and
does not keep placing you in safe and comfortable bodies or circumstances (otherwise I
would not keep attracting those exceptionally narcissistic Leos, oh, I've digressed).
Your soul or higher self conspires for your evolution. A soul-filled President Obama
(even if I haven't convinced you his connection to President Lincoln) has the
consciousness to study this former president enough to learn from his mistakes, and
that's enough for now...
One of my meditations is...may Sarah Palin (or anyone who desires to do this
abdominal act) inspire the reincarnated soul of John Wilkes Booth to show her or his
motivation to assassinate President in more than enough time and space to stop it by
those who want further balanced evolution on this planet...

Thinking about DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act), reincarnation & Uranus in Aries...
It has been said in some metaphysical circles that Obama is the reincarnation of Abe
Lincoln, whether true or not, our president's South Node of the Moon (a major past life
indicator/symbol) is in the sign of Aquarius degrees away from Lincoln's Sun
(consciousness, identity) in Aquarius. Pres. Obama could indeed be a reincarnation of
Pres Lincoln, but he IS representing the continuation of Aquarian principles learned
from other existences...
What if DOMA becomes an issue of the X amendment challenge (an unclear
amendment that gives leftover rights that the federal government doesn't use to the
states and the people)? Marriage has consistently been under the sovereignty of the
states. And, Massachusetts is suing the federal government because they have to play
for burying and Medicaid expenses of same-sex partners. Like the civil war and slavery
as an ancillary issue, what if some states secede because of DOMA? I know that's a
lot, and it is unlikely to happen, but Uranus is a wild card...and...
Uranus moves in Aries in mid-summer of 2010. The paradigm shifter of planetary
energy in the sign of primal new beginnings. Talk about a new Independence Day.
Keep your eyes open; folk will be looking to 'wanna be startin' somethin''...hopefully, my
last homage to Michael Jackson...
June 28,
40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots (and Judy Garland's death). Placing the death
of Michael Jackson in another context.
Born near a Full Moon in Pisces, right after on August 29, 1958, Michael would grow to
have a complex life, as does anyone who has their lights in mutable signs. You see,
Virgo and Pisces split into twos then into four, and Noah was nowhere to be found when
the flood of drugs, visions of grandeur and inspiration flourish.
As I said in my monthly column, I blame the two patriarchs, Joseph for physically beating
him while making loads of cash off of him and his brothers. And, there's the sky god,
Jehovah who has his witnesses. To have as much feminine, goddess energy and not
be allowed to express it, except on stage is horrible. Think of all those folk who do not
get that...
Anyhow, the Moon in Pisces would aid Michael in his dancing and musical pursuits, but
this is a delusional moon. Can anyone say Neverland? Peter Pan?
However, my meditation is that we learn from his passing. Got a little boy or girl who
doesn't fit traditional gender role assignments? Take care, the love you save may just
be your own..

Still enthralled a bit with this musical person's death (Jackson). He has Ceres (dwarf
planet) in Virgo. She rules the sharing of children...it is returning to the place where it
was when Michael was born. We will be hearing about custody of his children, whether
they are his or not for weeks, if not, months to come.
What are we here to learn from his death?
